Meet Paris
On That Dai wasn’t invented overnight. I didn’t plan to start a blog about Christianity, but the Lord called me to teach His word online in June 2023.
While taking a course on Christian book editing (I was in the book publishing industry in NYC), He suddenly said to start a blog on Christianity.
Even though I’d studied digital marketing and blogging since 2019, I was intimidated to teach His word online.
That being said, I was fine with studying His word alone during my quiet time!
…But when He told me to start teaching others what I’d learned, I was afraid.
I mean, who was I? Didn’t I need a seminary degree? Be a Christian for 10+ years?
I made a lot of excuses.
After walking in disobedience for over a year, going back and forth with the Lord, I finally yielded and committed to His plan.
I wrote my first post, “Abiding: 5 Practical Ways to Grow Closer to God in 2025” and submitted it to my pastor for approval and spiritual covering.
You might wonder, “Wait, you wrote a blog post on abiding, but hadn’t been obeying God to even start this blog?” I thought the same thing, but the Lord has a way of making us teach things that we’re learning ourselves. All is forgiven!
Now that we know each other, let me tell you more about On That Dai. This blog caters to disciples who:
- Love digging deep into the word of God to know Him as sons and daughters
- Have an interest in apologetics to defend their faith
- Want to discover God’s will for their lives to do His will on earth
A few fun facts about me:
- I love evangelizing and teaching the Bible (not surprising)
- I have a cat (she’s super cute!)
- I wanted to be an author before the Lord gave me the desire to be a Christian blogger
- I have the tiniest prayer closet you can think of! It’s about 24 inches by 36 inches in my small NYC bedroom
I hope you enjoyed learning about On That Dai! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out 🙂
Thanks for reading!
